Microsoft Word is a software intended for word processing. It was created by Microsoft, and now comes built into the Microsoft Office suite. It was originally developed by Richard Brodie for IBM PC under DOS in subsequent 1983.Versiones were scheduled for many other platforms including IBM PCs running MS-DOS (1983). It is a component of the Microsoft Office suite; also sold separately and included in Microsoft Works Suite. The current versions are Microsoft Office Word 2013 for Windows and Microsoft Office Word 2011 for Mac. It has become the most popular text processor world.
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application developed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. It has been a very widely applied spreadsheet for these platforms, especially since version 5 in 1993, and it has replaced Lotus 1-2-3 as the industry standard for spreadsheets. Excel forms part of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Excel has the basic features of all spreadsheets, using a grid of cells arranged in numbered rows and letter-named columns to organize data manipulations like arithmetic operations. It has a battery of supplied functions to answer statistical, engineering and financial needs.
